Fresh Pinsa
Pinsa dates back as far as ancient Rome, meaning we can confidently call it the ancestor of pizza. The name derives from the word 'pinsere' meaning 'to crush', 'to grind'.
Pinsa is prepared from a special blend of the highest quality rice, soya and wheat flours, imported from Italy.
In Pins, flour is mixed with cold water and the proportion of water reaches 80%, while in pizzas it reaches 50-60%.
This specific difference makes Pinsa more flavoursome and exceptionally crispy. Pinsa contains fewer carbohydrates and fats than pizza which makes it less calorific and easy to digest.
